Go to Amazon.uk and buy an aluminium baseball bat before those are banned, too. In the U.S. the police and the courts would be the only thing standing between the rioters and a sudden barrage of buckshot. In the UK, a rioter six feet away might as well be six blocks away as far as a policeman's ability to stop him.
You know it's serious when the Brits cancel soccer games...
