This is very big of you Shannon...although I didn't vote on the parody in question, I followed "The Trial of Shannon Vance" closely...people will accept Bush-drubbin', faeces, even necrophilia...but mess with the Big Guy and..I'm sorry to say this...you will get burned badly. Still, you're a good writer, and get 555 from me because of the quality and sincerity of this effort. As Rick said..keep writin'.

I appreciate your sentiments also, and after thinking about it, I know that one reason I was so against your parody was that it was a sexual parody about a child; grown-ups on this site talk about, or have talked about in the past (and still do) sensual things relating to adults--but yours was over the line. And the religious thing just made it worse; and I'm proud there were people who spoke up about it, and proud that you can be flexible.
