The Lyrics

Do not peek at the bottom line!
I'm worst of US presidents,
I have greed
I am unfit to lead
I'm worst of US presidents,
I'm an empty suit
I'm one rotten fruit

I don't have morals
no ethics found in me
I cheat my wife and break the laws
I'm rotten as can be
Worst of US presidents
I'm corrupt and stale
I should be in jail

My cabinet is full of crooks
they give me troubles more
If I had been born as a girl
I would have been a wh0re
I'm worst of US presidents
I'm spineless and I'm slick
I'm one puppy sick

I'm worst of US Presidents
As a villain, second to none
Crook number one
I gamble in the White House,
I sell illegal booze
I squander federal assets,
I'm full of cheat and ruse
I'm worst of US Presidents,
and here is my fame -
Warren Harding's my name!
Warren G. Harding (POTUS 29, in office 1921-1923) is generally considered as the worst US president ever. His term was marked by corruption and crime. He was pleasant by his demeanour and behaviour, but he was weak-minded, and he was unfit to lead the USA. He ran a speakeasy and a poker cabinet in the White House, lost the White House crockery in a poker game, and had one illegitimate daughter. He assembled his cabinet from his old college friends, who were corrupt and criminal, and who embezzled federal property (the Teapot Dome scandal). His term was marked by scandals. He died from food poisoning in 1923 in San Francisco. See Wikipedia, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warren_G._Harding

Bah. President Buchanan was worse; if not for his corruption and graft, the U.S.A. might have been able to buy Cuba.

Buchanan is certainly not very far from Harding, and a strong candidate for the worst. His lethargy was one of the reasons why the USA drifted into Civil War.

I think Harding's father told him if he had been a woman he would have been pregnant all the time because he didn't know how to say "No.". He was corrupt in the old-fashioned sense of plundering the treasury, rewarding his friends and cronies, and engaging in illicit sexual adventures. But he had little ability to cause lasting damage to the Republic, in the way modern free-spending, war-monger presidents have done. Some conspiracy buffs have suggested that Harding had been poisoned by his wife. No one else at the banquet got sick. But Harding had a heart condition and his entourage actually had a casket in one of the vehicles, just in case. Harding was succeeded by Calvin Coolidge, a many of probity, who said little and did less, leaving everyone alone. One of our best presidents.
