The Lyrics

All of us who find amiright.com to be one of our favorite sites are having a little need for patience these days, as the site has been plagued with crashes, crashes whose cause, we all hope, will soon be found and fixed. This site is almost like life blood to some of us. And we don't know what we'd do without it. So while we wait and hope for a fix to the problem lets have some fun singing parodies like this!
They'll crash you when you're searchin' for a song.
They'll crash you and make everything go wrong.
They'll crash you when you're searchin' parodies.
They'll crash you so you can't find ones like these.
But send your parodies in unabashed!
Everyday the site gets crashed!

They'll crash your every search on AmIright.
They'll crash and sometimes crash the whole darn site.
They'll crash when you were searching for a rhyme.
They'll crash and spoil your favorite pastime.
But send your parodies in unabashed!
Everyday the site gets crashed!

They'll crash while they were searchin' for the cause.
They'll crash and give your favorite site a pause.
They'll crash and make you hope they find a cure.
They'll crash, but 'til then let's try to endure.
But send your parodies in unabashed!
Everyday the site gets crashed!

Can't vote 'cause I don't know the original. But you proved me wrong! :-) Wow, I'm surprised there was actually a parody for this subject.

The original is one of those songs you wouldn't recognize by name... The original is better known by the phrase "Everyone must get stoned"

I'd give you 555, but the site won't accept my vote.....

Dude, I haven't even heard of that one. The lyrics to most of the songs I listen to are incoherent.

Yup, this one is far better than Capitol Steps' "Everybody Must Get Cloned." 5/5/5

My half sister's mother in law's sister in law's sister in law's brother is married to Elaina Newport, one of the original four Capitol Steps.

This parody gave me quite a chuckle! Good job!

Oh, and Nightmare - I've got one for ya - my late great aunt's second husband's second wife's grand niece's husband is second cousin to that Casale fellow in Devo... ;-)

Meriadoc? I have no idea what Casale is, and have not heard of Devo. Oh well. Anyway, the whole thing was way too complex for me to follow, and I assume you are tracing it all to yourself. I was chatting with my sister's mother in law, when she brought up the family connection.
