The Lyrics

How many stores must K Mart close down
Before they're out of the red?
Yes 'n' how many people worked for Enron
On a day that they would dread?
Yes 'n' how many CEO's got bonuses
While people are lined up for bread?
The pink slips, my friends, are blowin' in the wind
The pink slips are blowin' in the wind

How many bankruptcies have been filed
Because no jobs are out there?
Yes 'n' how many people are out of work
And no more benefit checks are there
Yes 'n' how many firms are cutting costs
Leaving entire communities bare?
The pink slips, my friends, are blowin' in the wind
The pink slips are blowin' in the wind

How many families have been broken up
Because of the economy?
Yes 'n' how many people live with their folks
For all of their peers to see?
Yes 'n' how many points of a firm's stock
Are from laying off people like you and me
The pink slips, my friends, are blowin' in the wind
The pink slips are blowin' in the wind

Just the kind of song Dylan who have written if he was still coherent. Funny parody.

I liked it, there were a couple of times where the pacing was a little off, but the point of the parody still rung through clearly - and it was funny, I gave it 4,4,4.

Like the sentiment, not crazy about the execution.
