This has to do with the KTVU broadcast in San Francisco of the fake pilot names. The anchor is either brain dead or complicit.
Sum Ting Wong, was the captain of the flight that crashed,
Said the anchor of the Bay broadcast,
Then Asiana sued her ass,
Wi Tu Lo was another pilot she said so,
While the NTSB let it go,
KTVU stooping low.
Why she didn't realize she must, have been brain dead,

Ho Lee Fook, another pilot said the anchor kook,

Nothing personal. Asian names are ripe for parody, and parody is the antidote for tragedy.
Shame on the intern Hoo Flung Dung at the crew of the ill-fated plane.
With proof-reading by humans being to expensive these days - and news anchors being paid to be sexy faces reading from a monitor rather than able to think for themselves - I'd say it's a 50-50% chance this could have happened at any station. Whether it was an immature intern or a hacker or someone with a personal grudge towards the anchor that set it up is anyone's guess at this point.

Topical entertainment with perfect song choice, though pacing seems a little iffy. Solid 4s from me.
That anchorwoman deserves everything she gets. Peter Andersson hit the nail on the head. It shows up the nature of the 'instant news' TV media as much as her. Anyone with a modicum of presence would have woken up by the third name, which she took her time over so as not to 'Fuk' up the pron. The names don't even sound Korean. It will take her career path a long time to get back on track, if ever.
Of course the really sad thing is it takes the impact away from the real tragedy - three bright hopes of the future lost, two by gung-ho rescue practices; dozens with probably longterm disabilities, and hundreds with post-traumatic stress and probably a future aversion to flying; and the airline ultimately responsible for dodgy training practices in a position to sue. What a mess.

Hi all, thanks for the comments. True Lifeliver, but I hope everyone remembers flying is the safest way to travel...unless you happened to be on that flight. Not sure why Boeing is being sued though. Peter, true, the typical anchor is now at the same intellectual level as a Mickey Ds worker, but I just needed a line for the song (,'-p)
