Original Song Title:

"And I Love Her"

Original Performer:

Parody Song Title:

"Romeo's Lament"

Parody Written by:

Warren Baker

The Lyrics

This is a second in the series of Beatle/Bard synthesisisisisses. Yep, it's darker sans humor, but it is a tragedy. Nonetheless, I hope you enjoy it.
Who is this one I see?
No one compares
No, she’s not Rosaline
Oh, life unfair
And I want her

I am her Romeo
A Montague
Her balcony it glows
She, I’ll pursue
And no other

Why must she be
A Capulet?
Will I regret
And pay dearly?

O. Henry would be proud
The irony
Watching the darkened clouds
Rain destiny
And they gather.

I hear and then I grieve
She rests inside
Her mortal coil unweaves
I, by her side
And to join her.
