Loosely based on our experience buying our first house. Don't mean to insult actual REALTORs; I don't think ours was.
I had a realtor
Or should I say
She once had me.
She showed me a house
Isn’t it good?
Norwegian wood.
She asked me to look and she told me to look everywhere.
She said if I bought it she’d promise to throw in a chair.
I looked at the rug
Biding me time
Noticing slime.
She talked until two
And then she said
“Put it to bed."

She told me “Don’t need an inspector” and started to laugh.
I told her “I want one to keep me from taking a bath.”
When I had the loan
I took a look
New mold had grown.
Then there was a fire
Isn’t it good?
Norwegian wood.
