Parody Song Title:

"Amnesty"

Parody Written by:

Steve Kalafut

The Lyrics

Dedicated to Los Coyotes of the Senate, and to El Coyote En Jefe, Jorge Arbusto. (Two-legged coyotes, that is.)
Amnesty
Is that really how it's got to be?
Reward those who come illegally
To me it's just a scamnesty

Build a wall
Why is that too much to ask of y'all?
Not just part of one, we need it all
And make it seven meters tall

Just what don't you get
We're upset, why can't you see?
Now we've had enough
You can stuff your amnesty

Amnesty
It's not justice, it's a travesty
Facial slap to those here legally
I say it's all a shamnesty

Just what don't you get
We're upset, why can't you see?
Now we've had enough
You can stuff your amnesty

Amnesty
It's not justice, it's a travesty
Facial slap to those here legally
I say it's all a shamnesty

You can stuff your amnesty

Mr. Bull and Mr. Cloud - I guess you two have a legitimate complaint. However, I would point out that among the victims of illegal migration from Mexico are the Tohono O'odham people of southern Arizona, who have literally had to pick up tons of trash from their reservation left by illegal migrants.

Good one, Steve

I don't know what's scarier: That Bush would be every bit as lax on national security when it comes to Mexico as he was when it came to the 9/11 hijackers, or that I'm actually to the right of him on an issue. Anyway, a great parody that should never have been required.

There is no connection between amnesty and national security. A basic legal principle is that, if people are allowed to trespass for a period of time, it is no longer trespassing. We have allowed and even encouraged illegal immigration by our employment practices and by our lack of enforcement of existing laws.

For national security and economic reasons, there are real reasons to tighten up border security starting now, but I don't see amnesty as a problem. There are 12 million illegals here currently; and, if you don't give them some form of amnesty, I don't see how you are going to get them all out of the country without causing more problems than you fix.
