The Lyrics

A tribute to all the brave holiday flyers. Wed. Nov. 25, 2003 is the busiest travel day of this entire year.
So many planes land at Sky Harbor city airplane patch,
This turkey day, everyone is on the go.
All these people make the go real slow,
Flying to and fro.

Hope that for'egner don't have rancor at the soda bar,
Could be top ten of F-B-I's most wanted whacks.
And we hanker for a time way back,
When just flying planes, weren't so strange.

Many planes this time of year all fill the skies.
Watch out for those dirty turban guys,
Just hope they don't attack.

So many planes you can fly business, coach or go first class,
If could fly rocket it'd still be a real slow scene.
Hope that they keep those airplane engines clean,
On those flyin' sheens.

Many planes this time of year all fill the skies.
Watch out for those dirty turban guys,
Just hope they don't attack.

Helter skelter there's a middle aged old roustabout,
He didn't put his shiny metal on the tray.
So in a rage he staged a mad display,
Now a long delay.

So many planes Sky Harbor braves a million customers,
We drink a tanker sitting waiting travel's grim.
And then the flyer crowd crushes in,
Another roaring plane, flies down range.

Many planes this time of year all fill the skies.
Watch out for those dirty turban guys,
Just hope they don't attack.
Many planes this time of year all fill the skies.
Watch out for those dirty turban guys.
Many planes.

Some friendly warning as we're already in the air? :D Good job!

How could you write a song about flying on Thanksgiving Eve and not mention Del Griffith? From "Planes, Trains & Automobiles"!

I'm gonna have to exercise my right to complain about the weiners who give low votes on pacing here. Ha, ha! It's fun to call 'em "weiners"; you should try it. There may be a song in there somewhere--"I wish I were a one-guy voting weiner..." Uh, anyway, EXCELLENT PACING AS USUAL AND ANYONE WHO DISAGREES IS...well, you know.

Thanks Claude. The actions of those who score me low have a virtually nil effect on my stats and I pay not attention to them. If they get their jollies from the POWER they perceive in clicking ones then they should be really easy to Christmas shop for. I bet a stop sign provides hours of reading pleasure to these self esteem challenged individual(s).
