Parody Song Title:

"Trill is Gone"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Sad, Blues song about a much loved, escaped, (never to be seen again) pet that my wife thought I was too attached to. (Some of that isn't true!) Also, apologies to John A. Barry as I've used the same title to parody the same song, but I have deliberately not viewed yours, so I don't know if there are similarities.
Trill is gone
Trill has flown away
Trill is gone, baby
Trill has flown away
I cleaned his cage, baby
An open window - flew away

Trill is gone
Trill has flown away from me
Trill is gone, baby
Trill has flown away from me
I raised him from an egg
Now so lonely, I'll be

Trill is gone
Trill has flown away for good
Trill is gone, baby
Oh, Trill has flown away for good
I know he's just a budgerigar to you, baby
But for me, he's been so good

Free now baby
You're free from your bell
Your cage, ladder, mirror
You're free from your bell
Now, since you've flown away
All I can do is wish you well
