The Lyrics

The pronunciation of this parody song title is "res-peht", rhymed like "misspent" (as opposed to "re-spite", rhymed like "despite")
Whatchyou want?
Will you go rot?
I don't need
Your presence now, got it?
All I'm askin'
Is for a little respite, you're in my zone (just back off a bit)
Hey dummy (just back off a bit), leave me alone (just back off a bit)
Piss off! (just back off a bit)

I just might do ya some harm, please get gone
When I hang with you too long, I really don't want ya
All I'm askin' is for a bit of respite, get yer ass home (just back off a bit)
Leave me (just back off a bit), leave me alone (just back off a bit)
Yeah (just back off a bit)

You misconstrued that you're sweet like honey
But you keep clinging, like I was your mommy
Can you just give some privacy when I'm home (bug off, bug off, bug off...)
You're flaky!
Leave me alone (just back off a bit)
Yeah (just back off a bit)

Don't dismiss this
Don't think I'm funny
Move your butt
I'll pay you money
All I need for you to do for me
Is to go away, leave me alone (flee, flee, flee, flee,,,)
You're creepy!
Please go leave me (respite, just back off a bit)
Go on, go home now (just back off a bit)

R-E-S-P-I-T-E
Get the F**K away from me!
R-E-S-P-I-T-E
Take off! OMG!
OH ! (back up buddy back up buddy back up buddy...!)
A little respite! (back up buddy back up buddy back up buddy...!)
Go away! (just back off a bit)
A well-earned respite (just back off a bit)
You're so wired! (just back off a bit)
I'm not lyin'! (just back off a bit)
You're buggin' me, no foolin' (just back off a bit)
There's no denyin' ((just back off a bit)
(Please please please please...)
Leave me alone...
You're quite annoyin'!... (just back off a bit...)
There's no doubt I'm done...
You need to leave...a little respite...

(Artistry) It took me a minute to really wrap my head around the pronunciation of the word, but I got it eventually. I feel like the second half of this song has a lot more humor in it. The background vocals and the lead interjections were very funny, but I didn't find myself laughing all that much. Technically this is a solid parody. Pacing was great and your rhymes were nice. It's a good parody, but not exactly to that next level where I'm used to seeing you work.

Too bad it's not spiteful enough but good for fives.

(Artistry) I've never heard of the word "respite" before, and Google gives me results involving caring for the disabled and the elderly, so that confused me. Also, it would've helped if there was context as to who the people were, why the guy was so annoying, etc. Like B-Man said, this was good on a technical level, but otherwise kinda fell a bit flat.

Respite definition: http://i.word.com/idictionary/respite. .what context is needed other than the subject of the song is clingy?

Educational and funny. Never heard of this word before and it sure earns my respite I mean my respect for teaching me a thing or two Professor Agrimorfee.

Not a bad effort, but I agree with Blaydeman that the second half was much funnier (especially subbing "back off buddy" for "sock it to me"). Never heard the word before either, but that didn't throw me off too much, I got the gist of it...nice work!
