Great summary of the weirdness of that game, Ethan. Some of these couplets are inspired, including 'bird plotzed/played slots' 'plant I picked/rocketship' and 'dooms me/shroom-y/room key' among others.
I agree with Glen. That was my favorite stanza of the parody too. This was a great parody sadly people who aren't familiar with the Mario games will just see it as a bizarre surreal parody but nothing wrong with that.
