My brother drove a car in a demolition derby. He is also a volunteer firefighter and paramedic. His son jumped out of a plane just to prove he could. I do know a guy who fought duels with real swords and almost lost a finger. He was blown off his horse while filming a scene for "Rambo III". Saw a girl hanging from the edge of an open elevator shaft while filming a stunt for a dumb horror film that was never finished. Learned later that she had broken her arm earlier that evening and didn't tell anyone. I continue to eat at McDonald's.
