The Lyrics

I think I will win any fancy dress costume party dressed as Gandhi. What do you think? Here is a youtube link to the song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gtOV7bp-gys Enjoy :)
Partying is my business,
I need to win the contest.
Could always go as Otis?
Bet there'll be Bugsy Malonies
I can't believe it's at 9.30, I need to wait 'til then.
I have lots of different costumes, I need to chose between them.

I have a donkey costume, only the hindquarters.
Mario's ok, but I need to be much shorter.
I could go dressed up as a privet.
This is perfect, but how do I get in it?

I think I already chose,
They'll be really quite mad if I don't show.
Got a toga and a peep-toe,
I think I'll go as Gandhi.

I think I already chose,
A little too tight or a little too loose.
Could go as a TV remote,
But I think I'll go as Gandhi.

I could go as Moses,
And I am going to win this.
Everybody knows.
And win all of the prizes.
Maybe a big chicken?
A Cowboy in a Western?
Or a convict in a prison?
I would need a pick then.

I have a donkey costumes, only the hindquarters.
Mario's ok, but I need to be much shorter.
Or Michael Jackson, but I need the glove.
I'm running out of time,
I wish I had more.

Need money,
I think I already chose,
A little too tight or a little too loose.
Got no time, it's far to go.
I think I'll go as Gandhi.

Now I already chose,
They'll be really quite mad if I don't show.
Put my shoes on, and then grab my coat.
Decided to go as Gandhi.

I won't need to bribe the voters,
The judging starts in an hour and a quarter.
I will win, the costume's a cut above,
And I will be back home before half-past four.
before half-past four.
before half-past four.
before half-past four.
before half-past four.
before half-past four.
before half-past four.
before half-past four.
before half-past four.

Hey ho, here we go,
The voting's started and it's quite a show,
One round down and two to go.
And I think I'll win as Gandhi.

Hey ho, what a show,
They're calling the results and it's really quite close.
I hope I'm going to win the vote.
I'm glad I came as Gandhi.

It's been quite a show,
They announced the winner a minute ago,
I'm beaming over my face you know,
Because I just won as Gandhi.

It's been quite a show,
They announced the winner a minute ago,
I'm beaming over my face you know,
Because I just won as Gandhi.

You've given me a terrific idea for a song about Gandhi. Hopefully, I'll be able to "spin it" (lol) by tomorrow

Good luck Callmelennie. I am glad you enjoyed this one enough to inspire you to write you own song about Gandhi.

Well, CL -- didn't get it done, Gandhi-wise, for today. But I do have some good lines down. Just need to let it steep a little bit more -- so maybe Monday or Tuesday
