The Lyrics

Is there anything tackier than lawn ornaments? Really?
Your yard... Has pink flamingos
And the whole town... Has laughed right at your home
That big wood dame (Dame!) bent over is plain wrong
Those toilet planters blow
As well as all your lame lawn gnomes

Metal clowns and some rainbow deer
Spent your last dime on a bird bath that looks like a beer
Got whirligigs placed around
Till there's no space that's left on the ground

Your neighbors bitch and moan
The worst things are those damn lawn gnomes

Ewwwwwwwwwwww....
Ewwwwwwwwwwww....
Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugh...
Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugh!!!
Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugh!!!
Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww....
Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwww...
Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwww...
Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugh!!!

Short and stout with a big grey beard
They're dressed like elves in your garden
Pointy hats are weird
I stumbled and then I fell down
Cause I kicked these when walkin' around

I'll smash them with a stone
Cause I really hate your stupid gnomes!

Ewwwwwwwwwwww....
Ewwwwwwwwwwww....
Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugh!!!
Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugh!!!
Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugh!!!
Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww....
Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugh!!!
Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugh!!!
Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww....

Do de phrase "lawn jockeys" strike a responsive chord? No vote.

Guess Matty's going for the barren yard look. Why B a H8tr? 1-1-1

The lawn ornaments I like are the life-size deer. Especially in neighborhoods where read deer are often seen. Lucky no firearm hunting allowed in my mostly urban county.

Matthias musta watched that one KOTH episode where Bobby wrecks the garden gnome Winklebottom and Hank uses it for an excuse to get rid of it! Yep.

I wish the OS author had written more lyrics besides oooooooh awash, this parody needed more opportunity for topic discussion. Well done.

I can always appreciate someone who changes the "Ooohs" into something suitable. 5-5-5

(ABC) Yeah, Phillip Phillips has like no substance in his music. Not a fan of him. This parody could've really used some more material to work with. I need more content to grab onto.

Not a lot to work with, but with what little there was, you managed to write a pretty solid spoof. I think the saving grace was your many examples of tacky lawn ornaments in the first verse. Very simple and very funny!

(ABC) Simple yet effective, lawn ornaments are indeed stupid and are just asking for dynamite. 555!
