So this is probably the shortest parody I've ever done. It's also possibly the most mundane. This spoof is all about that time you were in class and the teacher springs a pop quiz on you. No big deal right? You pull out your old #2 and reach for you noteb... but wait... YOU FORGOT YOUR NOTEBOOK! So you discretely ask someone to borrow a piece of loose leaf paper, but what if they won't give you a piece... I told you... mundane.
Verse 1: If I should need a piece of loose leaf
Could you spare a sheet?
Cuz mine’s not here, left mine at home, you see
I’m not trying to cheat…
It shouldn’t take forever… forever’s cool with me
Or half a sheet, whatever… my quiz looks incomplete
Verse 2: I don’t mean to bleat, I discretely plea
Some paper would be sweet…
Well I’m still here, waiting anxiously
And watch my time deplete…
This shouldn’t take forever! Together could succeed

Short and sweet. This was decent. Not your best but good enough for a tiny tune.
Indeed rather brief. Haiku-ish. The Kind of song Weird Al would use as filler (yar yar) in an album.
At least you don't have to worry about the lack of paper when writing this, but still, pop quiz sucks.
(Artistry) Most of the humour here came from the contrast between the gentle nature of the OS and the mundanity of the topic at hand...nothing wrong with that, of course. But yeah, like Matthias said, not your best but you did the best with what you had.
Not gut busting funny, but perhaps a perfect topic to go with the sweet music of the OS. I agree with Grim on the Weird Al "filler" song comparison. Short, sweet and to the point, nice work!
