"WW3 in Germany"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

A "What-If" scenario of 1985 Soviet joint Warsaw Pact invasion of Western Europe at the height of Soviet miltary power. The first crossong would be into W Germany by the E Germans backed by the Soviets and this parody is told from the E German soldier's POV. All of the weapons in this song are the ones for 1985 on both sides! Of course, if things went badly the W German commanders had control of US tactical nukes and would have used them on German soil against the deluge of Soviet/WP armor and manpower backed by Hind gunships and MiGs and Sukhois!!!
‘85, WAR WITH THE SOVIETS!!!
NATO scrambles, WP joins in
Special forces race to fight Spetsnaz,
Germany’s at war again!

Jumped in a truck,
Headed straight for the front line
Look to my right and I see a T-62 firing
This is all so scary
Battle is always dangerous

I am East German and this war is making me sick
But its my duty in the service,
That's when my commander said “Get ready to go”
And I put my helmet on
And my STG was drawn
And the incoming rounds were strong

[Chorus:]
Lift my RPG up
Leopard coming strong,
Aim and fire a rocket its way
Hit the turret straight away!
No effect, Mein Gott- no way!
A second one up,
Leopard coming strong
MiGs in the sky are on their way!
Hey, it's WW3 in Germany
Hey, it's WW3 in Germany

Hinds are firing rockets overhead
Marder IFV churning up ground
W German troops disembarking now
I’ve gotta get my head right down!!

So hard to fight with my STG
W Germans are better armed with their G-3s
MG-3 firepower’s incredible
And now I’m running out of ammo

I am East German and this war is making me sick
But its my duty in the service,
That's why I hope this war will be over soon
Sukhois now dropping bombs
and I’m ordered to move on
and the Red Army is strong

Lift my RPG up
Leopard coming strong,
Aim and fire a rocket its way
Hit the turret straight away!
No effect, Mein Gott- no way!
A second one up,
Leopard coming strong
MiGs in the sky are on their way!
Hey, it's WW3 in Germany
Hey, it's WW3 in Germany

Mil’s takin’ me on a flight (on a flight)
Back into this fierce firefight (fierce firefight)
Comrade tells me all is fine (is fine)
I reload my weapon and I feel alright

Lift my RPG up
Leopard coming strong,
Aim and fire a rocket its way
Hit the turret straight away!
No effect, Mein Gott- no way!
A second one up,
Leopard coming strong
MiGs in the sky are on their way!
Hey, it's WW3 in Germany
Hey, it's WW3 in Germany

Lift my RPG up
Leopard coming strong,
Aim and fire a rocket its way
Hit the turret straight away!
No effect, Mein Gott- no way!
A second one up,
Leopard coming strong
MiGs in the sky are on their way!
Hey, it's WW3 in Germany
Hey, it's WW3 in Germany
