The Lyrics
Although no one knows if there will be a MiG-41 in the future (as the MiG-39 sits shelved), I based this parody on the artwork below and named it Fast Track as a NATO reporting name with a "F" for fighter. The fanciful drawing is somewhat realistic and looks like a combo MiG-21 and 35 with a hint of Sukhoi PAK-FA thrown in! The plane depicted uses a blended body/wing, canted tailfins, what looks to be an all-glass cockpit with HUD, an IRST system, a possible radar-cancelling emitter pod under the single-intake nose, cannons in the wing roots and a ventral gun beneath, a single large weapons bay (closed), and some form of rear defense sensors attached to the wings. I'm assuming that such a fighter would also possess an ELOP (ELecto-OPtical) system, possibly vectored thrust (although in the pic it looks like standard variable nozzle), and carry a refueling probe. Possible interlinking helmet display too. Anyway, I projected the timeframe as 2020. Plasma stealth is a possibility too, although with the Su-47 it reportedly didn't quite work out in trials.
