The Lyrics

I got my tickets early
Even camped outside
The concert venue last night
But I’ve been brushed aside
They think they got the best of me
Think they laughed their last laugh
But I’ll get them back, chant a song of glee
Think they’re gonna make me pay
Make me pay extra money
Well, they don’t know I won’t pay them a dime

Guess what, this line is getting longer
Think of a good song-er
To try to irritate everyone with
Maybe the theme of “Andy Griffith”
Or “Beethoven the Fifth”
Or just “The Bridge of the River Kwai”
Guess what, this line is getting longer, longer
It’s growing by the mile
Guess what, this line is getting longer
Think of a good song-er
To try to irritate everyone with

Their ears are hurting badly, and they’re not at the gate
Nor am I for that matter, though I digress
Now their stomachs are hurting, Heaven knows what they ate
They’re looking like they are possessed

Don’t see the line is getting longer
Contemplate a song-er
To try to irritate everyone with
Maybe that cute ditty from “Kill Bill”
Or that song “Jack and Jill”
Though I sound like an electric drill
Don’t see the line is getting longer, longer
It’s growing by the mile
Don’t see the line is getting longer
Contemplate a song-er
To try to irritate everyone with

Finally I’m standing behind the gate
Finally I’m showing off my ticket
Finally I’m bragging ‘bout my great rate
The great rate I got on my ticket… my sweet concert ticket… I deserved

The line is getting even longer
But I’m in the door, er
And I’m finding my seat as I sing this
In my head is the theme from “Kill Bill”
But I’ll just sit and chill
‘Cause I sound like an electric drill
The line is getting even longer, longer
But I will just lounge here
The line is getting even longer
But I’m in the door, er
And I’m finding my seat as I sing this

The line is getting even longer, longer
But I will just lounge here
The line is getting even longer
But I’m in the door, er
And I have found my seat as I sang this

Sang this…
Standing in a long line for a concert, especially in the cold, would NOT a happy patron make... among other concert-line mishaps.

Due to some scathing, hateful, unsubstantiated comments I received on my YouTube channel, I have taken it down. My deepest apologies for the inconvenience, for those of you who have been to my channel. I wonder if I should resubmit the parodies that have my YouTube link on them, or if the link can just be removed.
