Now and then I think I need clean litter
Like the vet said you need to keep it clean and dry
Told myself that you were just too busy
But then you waited and it got stinky
And I found a way to make my human remember

I can get addicted to a certain kind of hygeine
Like to poop and pee where it's clean
Your clothes, my friend
So when I found that you would not keep up
On the upkeep of my litter box
Then I relieved myself on your sweater


But you didn't have to cuss me out
Cut out my treats and my catnip
and now I have nothing
And I don't even need back rubs
But now I live on food and water
and that feels so rough
you only had to scoop my poo
Scrub the box about once a week
and then change the litter
I guess that I don't need that now
Now it's just somewhere that I used to go.
