and the Russians are coming, they could be here any day
orange is Putin’s friend, autocrats is their game
couldn’t make this up, story’s hard to believe
congress says we’ll investigate, Nunes says let’s see
Devin got a secret look, smelt something wasn’t right
bad rookie move, told orange all about it near middle of the night

so much for independence he ignored our constitution
Devin’s over his head with no committee resolution
investigation’s compromised so orange spins the solution
the orange has always been loose with his fact attribution
Nunes gave orange cover for his twitter elocution
dude then gave Nunes a kind of orange absolution
orange keeps Fact-Check busy sorting wrong from right
and once more again, orange fake news turns day into night

while back at trumpcare, orange’s number one priority
his plan sacrificed the poor to the orange aristocracy
bill was hated by most of the healthcare industry
and all healthy folks through most of the country
orange said pull the bill just before the final vote
his orangeness couldn’t bear to hear congress tell him no
that plan was so wrong it woulda’ been a fright
so long trumpcare, “the dude can’t even do wrong right” *

even with republican control of all of congress
they still can’t escape their own political mess
orange had to swallow his bitter trumpcare pill
next comes tax reform and government spending bills
with their political capital slipping out of sight
lord have mercy, they can’t even do government right
