The Lyrics

This is a fictional, hypothetical battle between the future F-35 Lightning II vs the Su-47 Berkut (NATO named Firkin) over Russia.
[F-35]
F-35, symbol of America’s might
And it soon will be up to the fight
Multi-role capability is a wonderful thing!

[Su-47]
Swooping up and down
At twice the speed of sound
Swept-forward wings designed by TsAGI
Never gonna down it, how fantastic the Firkin can fly!
But can it fulfill Russia’s required MFI…???

[F-35]
Just when you think
Lockheed-Martin’s on the brink
The F-35 comes along with VTOL

[F-35]
VTOL, VTOL
VTOL, VTOL
I can take-off and land here and there!
What a surprise!
The enemy’s demise!

[Su-47]
VTOL? VTOL?
VTOL? VTOL?
No matter, Russian airspace will be hell

[F-35]
Just dropped right in with my VTOL

[F-35]
VTOL!

[F-35]
Gonna do a sky dance
Snake around and take a bold chance
Carrying AMRAAMs
GBUs and JDAMs

[Su-47]
Gotta get past this interceptor
Gsh-301 cannon, R-77 BVR with active-radar

[Both]
Combat supremacy, some day we’ll see!

[F-35]
VTOL, VTOL
VTOL, VTOL
I can take-off and land here and there!
What a surprise!
The enemy’s demise!

[Su-47]
VTOL? VTOL?
VTOL? VTOL?
No matter, anti-stealth radars active with cells

[F-35]
Just dropped right in with my VTOL

[F-35]
VTOL, VTOL
VTOL, VTOL
I can take-off and land here and there!
What a surprise!
The enemy’s demise!

[Su-47]
VTOL? VTOL?
VTOL? VTOL?
No matter, anti-stealth radars active with cells

[F-35]
Just dropped right in with my VTOL

[Su-47]
VTOL? VTOL?
VTOL? VTOL?

[F-35]
I can take-ff and land here and there!
What a surprise!
The enemy’s demise!

[Su-47]
VTOL? VTOL?
VTOL? VTOL?
But I’ve got plasma stealth as well!

[F-35]
Just dropped right in to say hello

VTOL!
VTOL!
VTOL!

[Su-47]
Bring it on USA, I’m up for a kill!!!

This might be a fictional account, but at the rate of your world, it may become true quicker than most people think! Excellent Rob! 5's! :-)

Error on V18L1- should read "take-off"!!! Damn, I hate errors... anyway, TY WCJ. For the record the F-35 is gonna miss IOC by years and the Su-47 Berkut is a private venture by Sukhoi. It is however, superior to the MiG-39. In the Cold War, MiG dominated but afterwards they became like Heinkel (to Messerschmitt)- second-rate. The Su-27 family and variants rule at home and for export!!!

As a substitute for war, each nation could haul out its most advanced aircraft and pit them against each other in simulated combat at airshows. Something like a NASCAR race in the sky.
