I've been there all right. Used to buy a ticket for every lottery. Then one day it suddenly dawned on me: "Hey...I'm never going to win one of these things!"

My dad was big into the lottery. Oldest brother won $5000. Most I won was $5.
I don't gamble much anymore and only play the Lottery every once in a while when the pot is over $100 mil. I played the astrological numbers, the firtune cookie numbers... even the co-ordinates from "Battlestar Galactica" tv series that Starbuck used to find Earth 2!!!
