The ode to Barney Stinson, everyone's favorite womanizer from the TV show How I Met Your Mother (played by Neil Patrick Harris). The [the year 2030] and [2005] are references to the show and how the whole thing is told in a flashback. Can't believe I missed this one! I love this TV Show!!! I can't believe you did a tribute to something let alone something that I'm a gigantic fan of. What's next? A "Community' tribute?!
Well, I've actually never seen Community, but this was originally going to be a movie tribute...but got turned into this. The movie idea is too good to pass up, I just have to watch it a few more times to get fully inspired.

What really impressed me about this Abbott is that one need not be familiar with HIMYM to enjoy this. Good job.

(ABC) Never seen HIMYM. As such, this parody didn't really click with me. Twas written very well, that's worth 5's, but I guess it's hard for me to enjoy a tribute to a character I've never seen in action. Not your fault, of course.
(ABC) Love the show! (obviously, I've written a few parodies reminiscent of it's theme). Barney Stinson is one of my favorite characters of all time, played by one of my favorite actors. All that combined together and made for a parody that I loved! 555 suits and ties.
Ive never seen a full ep of HIMYM, so a few lines/names were lost on me. However, good parody and the trade off in the choruses of perfect rhyming vs creativity/variety was one well worth it. TIGYF (Thus I Gave You Fives)
