Song Parodies -> "QAnon"

Original Song Title:

"When I’m Gone"

Original Performer:

Anna Kendrick

Parody Song Title:

"QAnon"

Parody Written by:

Hu’s On First

The Lyrics

I know ‘bout all the tunnels underground
Where they keep children far from home
And they use this eldritch high-tech machine
To harvest the poor kids’ adrenochrome

QAnon
QAnon
I learned all this from QAnon
You know that we can all thank Trump
Who made Q post a data dump
Oh, I learned all this from QAnon

QAnon
QAnon
I learned all this from QAnon
You know the storm will soon be here
So you’d better trust the plan, my dear
Oh, I learned all this from QAnon

You know this knowledge was around a while
But people never saw the light
‘Twas a guy named Richard Shaver, told the truth without a waver*
He’s dead now, but we’ve just proved him right

QAnon
QAnon
I learned all this from QAnon
Where we go one, there we go all
Follow the rabbit, you won’t fall
Oh, I learned all this from QAnon

QAnon
QAnon
I learned all this from QAnon
Did you know JFK’s not dead?
He’s working with our side instead
Oh, I learned all this from QAnon

QAnon
QAnon
I learned all this from QAnon
I hope that we find out today
Just who has reptile DNA
Oh, I learned all this from QAnon
*Richard Shaver was a writer who promoted a conspiracy theory called the “Shaver Mystery” in the 1940s, which in many ways was a precursor to QAnon. Because they didn’t have the Internet back then, he promoted it in the pages of science fiction magazines, in the form of “stories” about horrific events which he claimed had actually happened to him. Numerous other people (who may have been mentally ill) subsequently wrote letters to the editor claiming similar events had happened to them as well. This led to Shaver’s theories becoming quite popular for a while.

I generally peruse about 30 articles on the conventional right wing blogosphere every day, and have done so for over ten years. The number of articles that Ive come across that put a positive spin on Qanon in that time can be counted on the knuckles of my left hand .. and still have a knuckle or two uncounted. Which means, of course, that all right wing knowledged is fueled by nothing but Qanon .. But of course it is
