The Lyrics

[piano intro]

Caught up in this damn Traffic jam
Now I sit and bitch at these assh*les
"Sh*t", I swear
and then said, "Damn"

Always stuck behind big SUV's
They mess with my mind; get me peeved
I do resent
all the time I waste

This mess stinks, it sure is f*cked
It's tied up for many
miles still to come
All tied up, we all just coast
Traffic is so slow
I'm irate; it's dumb
Damn rubber-neckers
These creeps; my patience – spent
This is bullsh*t

This Traffic Jam we're in
This Traffic Jam I'm in

Move like snails
I sit and mope; I'm cross
Man, this really blows
I sit and burn
When will I learn?
This really stinks

Stuck in traffic, burns my ass no end
As I sat I grimaced
All these dips, have rocks in heads
I am so pissed at them

Stuck in traffic, that sure sucks
It wastes all my time
Our highways; no fun
Traffic tied up to the coast
And I must suppose
More tie-ups to come
Scream at dumb peckers
Who don't have no common sense
Gets me so pissed

So vexed, I sit there and cuss
My teeth start to grind
I rage; now I'm glum
Frying in my car, I roast
The cold air don't blow
My A/C don't pump
It needs a check-up
No cold air comes through the vents
Now I'm so pissed

Damn Traffic Jam we're in
Bad Traffic Jam I'm in
It's awful, just can't win
I won't get home till ten

AFW - thanks, I guess lots of folks are familiar with Traffic Jams at this point. Now that we are back into "Tax Season" mode here at work I'm back on a "regular" work-week...with all that entails...including the traffic jams getting to and from work...In the morning I just leave really early...I usually get here anywhere from 30 minutes to over an hour early...it's a lot more relaxing than rushing in at the last minute...besides, leaving early I hit lighter traffic, if I leave before 6:45am it usually takes less than 35 minutes to go my 24+ miles...every minute after that seems to add about 2 or 3 minutes to my arrival time...this morning left at 6:50, got here at 7:45...phew...Jason, I'll just bet you do...England, right? what area?
