The Lyrics

A special Burtonized parody song.

To the.......

To the.......

Burton Hotel i'm looking for ghouls and monsters tonight.
Excuse me, can I look for excitement and fright?
Haunted attractions and parks they entertain me.
It's why all the boys in town go wild and adore me.
Tim looked at me, he nodded and grinned.
Handed me the elevator key and said "the fun is on the second floor'

I see monsters and ghouls dancing around.
And changing portraits that reveal the face of a fiend.
I arrive and stay on the second floor.
Something strange happens when I tap on the door.
The doorknob turns into a spider and grows legs.
And did the bed just move on its own?
I see a face coming out of the wall.
I freak out as he screams...'this is your home now'.

So in a flash I was there, I knocked loudly on the door.
Was greeted by Christopher Walken and three vampiric ladies.
And the scene was beautiful and eerie, like a gothic day-dream.
"Come in, we've got everything here for you.'
"You want monsters, we've got them all, take a ghoul or two.'
"This is the place where you meet your fears, befriend them too.'
In each of Chris's hands there were several cards.
Multiple hearts and spades, as he set up the game.

Chris Walken:
Are you up for a challenge tonight.
Beware my friend you are in for a fright.
There's no way out, you cannot escape.
But if you're lucky, i'll give you nothing but bliss.
"Choose your card, but choose it well.'

'Gimme me the black ace of hearts' I said with flare and style.
"Here's the spell I place upon it, if you go out, go with a smile'
Put the cards on the table as the ladies danced around.
Sang of blood serums and got me addicted.
The challenge is addicting, is what he told me.
I gave it a few more goes and I won.

Oh yeah, got the prizes.
Next morning, woke up confused with a bite on my neck.
I asked Chris...'is this a bitemark what the heck?'

I start to get frightened, maybe a little nervous.

But I didn't want to get caught and look like a fool.
So I decide to play along and head down to the pool.
But what's that strange thing at the surface?
I see a hand crying out, a slimy monstrous hand pulls me under.
I come back up only to end up in the garden
And this garden has a graveyard.
I go to him again and ask...'Chris, what's going on?'

Chris Walken:
Welcome to the Burton Hotel.
Where it could be heaven or it could be hell.
Please don't mind the screams and yells.
And fall under this wonderful spell.

Check the gathering scene.
I see Tim Burton with Lisa Marie.
Helena's there as a dark queen.
And the the ghosts sitting near by.
The monsters at the table watch on.
Johnny Depp sits right across from me.
I turn around and he keeps morphing.

"Oh my goodness...look it's Tim and Lisa Marie."
"And did you see Johnny, did you see him yet?"
Look at his clientelle, these strange creatures.

All those ghouls just cheering Tim on.
Chris wants me to join the group but i'm afraid.
The more the monsters sing and dance, that one guy can't stop.
I walk in the ballroom, see the dancers float in mid air.
The monstressess look at that guy like he's a romantic hero

Yeah, he's alright, he's in good shape.
But then the monsters are looking at him.
So it seems like he's going to win this little game.
But the others are afraid since it's getting dark.
Meanwhile, somehow something is off, something's wrong.
About this place he is now a permanent resident in.
Every thing he sees defies description.
The monsters start following him, he remains cool to avoid panicking.
He's getting a lot of attention but he's looking different.
He's growing fangs, and his nails are sharper, and he has piercing red eyes.
He notices how he turned into a monster all in one night.
He used to be the star, now he's a fright.

Lisa Marie: *singing*
Welcome to the Burton Hotel.
It can be heaven or it can be hell.
Please don't mind the yowls and yells.
And let me help you with my spell.

Since i'm trapped here with you guys, see you all later.
I'm going to that exit near the elevator.
Blood is dripping from the walls
Excuse me mister, I didn't see you there.

Glenn Shadix:
Pleased to meet you, Glenn is the name.
I'll be your guide.
I play a little game called 'Doom'.
I take chances, I toy with minds.
But I don't mean to scare people.
It's just i've got the voice for this.
By the way, what's your name?

My name's Mel.

Do you like the scenery, my dear Mel?

Looks so twisted yet at the same time.
This place's design is so nice it's a crime,

Glenn Shadix:
Mel, you've had a rough life.
How about you live it up for tonight?

Well hell yes, thank seems this is the night of my life.

Glenn Shadix:
So true, monsters and ghouls, tricks and treats.
Chris's vampire brides, dancers and delightful screams.

Oooh, yes please...offer accepted, too good to reject it.
So I join in the fun even though my well-being is respected.

Glenn Shadix:
Exactly, relax and enjoy, don't disrespect it.

Disrespect what?

Glenn Shadix:
Ooh, you poor thing, do you feel like you've been dejected.

Glenn, why do I feel so strange?
I feel like drinking blood just like Chris and his brides.

Glenn Shadix:

You can check out anytime you like dear Mel.
But you cannot leave, since you belong here now.
A creature of the dark, nocturnal by nature.
It is with me that you placed your trust.
Now you won't grow old or turn to dust.
You belong here now, it is your fate.

So you're telling me that I can check out.
But also that I cannot leave.
And I'm going to be here for eternity.

Welcome to the Burton Hotel.
Where it could be heaven or it could be hell.
Please don't mind the screams and yells.
And fall under this wonderful spell.
