This is probably one of the most depressing songs i've done yet. This song isn't based on me or anyone I know.
Back then when I was a little nipper
Always going hyper, feeling rather chipper
Never ever had to stutter or stammer
Never was a punk or put into the slammer
There never was any crime in my body but I wasn’t sure
Then one day my Dad stop working and we all turned poor
Robbed for food, knew it wasn’t good
Had to steal whatever to get some pud
I was the thief under pressure and grief
Never paid the rent on our house so we had to leave
Never used a gun and never used a knife
Put Mum and Dad before my life
Mum and Dad rest in peace
Both are now deceased
Mum and Dad rest in peace
Full of distress, full of grief
Yeah, yeah
Met a lover, future getting brighter
Through our hard times she was a fighter
She was called S'weet Lily
She was passing away but I thought I was silly
I thought that she was going to keep on and survive
Then one morning she died
Sweet Lily rest in peace
My beautiful wife is now deceased
Sweet Lily rest in peace
Full of distress, full of grief
Yeah, yeah
I wish my life just wasn’t true
Something always happens, it’s nothing new
I found it hard to say goodbye to you
How did I live my life right through?
Please don’t remind me what I left behind me
I know enough bad to permanently blind me
I was a coward went and ran away
Didn’t know myself had nowhere to stay
Got hit by a car when I was 81
My life has been far from fun
A dodgy pun
Mum and Dad rest in peace
Both are now deceased
Mum and Dad rest in peace
Full of distress, full of grief
Yeah, yeah
Sweet Lily rest in peace
My beautiful wife is now deceased
Sweet Lily rest in peace
Full of distress, full of grief
Yeah, yeah
Always going hyper, feeling rather chipper
Never ever had to stutter or stammer
