Well I lost control as my dog did balk
On our way to play-I-ay
She met a spitting squirrel that she hoped to stalk
To malign, off, slay her prey
And my task again, is to yell ‘til I’m blue
‘Cause her glare is back and her prize is due
And she’d spew, bite when, it was racing for burl
Bound, she’d vault like bomb for an all gray squirrel

She’d be after lair as she raced through town
On our way to play –I-ay
She’s fast my pup, with a rat to down
To malign, off, slay her prey
And she’ll bask in fen, with a smell that is new
To ensnare and whack and surprise a shrew
In a brook, on land, well, she'd give it a whirl
But she’d stop and dart for an all grey squirrel

Then I broke cup as I’d fallen prone . . .
With a broken part on a thicket gnome . . .
And I mashed my brow and my gut was in poo
And I swear my crack is the size of gnu
On gravel, aground, I’ve been pulled over and hurled
Boys, restraint never means nothin’ with an all grey squirrel
