Interesting. . .The though of a parodist from AmIRight being parodied is kinda funny. . .Spaff congrats you are now both among the parodist and parodied list on AmIRight. . .although I could have sworn I had heard Hey Birthday Boy in Ryan's Buffet among others before--but regardless--that's neat. . .Matthias don't get any ideas--Technological Life needs a video more than it needs to be parodied.
Ha. Nice one. Thanks for the OS performance credit, but the truth is that "Hey Birthday Boy" has been performed by practically everyone on Amiright EXCEPT me. (You, BADave, Merry & Pippin, Rick Duncan, Rick Cormier, Dee Range, Kristof, Kristof, Kristof, Kristof, and Kristof - and probably others I'm stupidly forgetting at the moment.) The performances will all be made public soon - the CD *will* be made - but unfortunately I keep getting distracted by this thing called real life.

You mean amiright's not "real life"? Better keep that one quiet... And "based on the performance by... me" would have been truly weird, I'm afraid you'll have to accept it as an author rather than performer credit (like Gilbert & Sullivan, if you like). Yes, it was my birthday yesterday, and I got a rendition of "Hey Birthday Boy" from the children as well as "Happy Birthday" :-)
