Someone gave me all 1's..... OK, back to the drawing board. I'll just make an even better parody!

I felt the same way too. I've been writing different parodies now. Thanks for pointing that out.

I tap-dance at the DDR machine. Nice try, though.
Below Average Dave - May 30, 2009 - Report this comment
Tap Dance Shirley? I personally love DDR as mentioned on your Baby Balloon parody, I only play on expert, couldn't get away with tap dancing on that level, especially on the remixes of Paranoia or Max, though I'd love to see a tap dancer to some of the easier one--that'd be entertaining, I'll balance the ones a little bit. Hey Blaze, don't take ones personally, they usually come without a comment, it doesn't necessarily reflect the quality of your work. I've gotten one bombed simply for certain topics or sticking up for people--it happens all the time.

Thanks, dave and Shirley! I figured there'd be people who troll parodies by giving ones on the site. Hey, at least it wasn't a Rick Roll. Thanks for enjoying my parody, I like DDR-related parodies. I tried juggling superballs to Can't Stop Fallin' In Love on Standard, and I did pretty good. As for other DDR stunts, I played Dragon Blade on Heavy while waving around a plastic sword and wearing fake dragon tattoos and still got a AA. Prepare for more of my parodies, cause I try to do at least 2 a day.
Chance Gollnick - May 30, 2009 - Report this comment
you can do it dude just try something on other topics cause you can turn anything funny. i believe it.
DJ Blaze - May 30, 2009 - Report this comment
Thanks, Chance! That gave me great motivation! I posted parodies about pasta and Wal-Mart yesterday. They'll probably be added Monday.

No problem because we all start out and we all gotta progress but once you get your own style and wackiness down its solid. glad i could help with motavation to.
DJ Blaze - June 01, 2009 - Report this comment
You have given me great, inspirational advice, Chance! You must have a lot of experience on AmIRight. I've been doing it for about a week, with some parodies stockpiled in My Documents prior to my recent submissions.
Silver Power - June 02, 2009 - Report this comment
I appreciate the effort. And I understood a lot of the references, being a DDR player myself. I'm assuming you typoed on FAXX and meant MAXX? I gave you 555 to counter the unnecessary 111 that someone gave you. Just work on replacing more of the words from the original parody. Also, a note: instead of saying AAA, 'Triple A' would have worked just as well, matched the pacing that same, and been easier to pronounce. But good job. Maybe I'll play you in DDR sometime... Ever tried Pump? xD
DJ Blaze - June 02, 2009 - Report this comment
"FAXX" is a pun on Fascination Maxx, the boss song from SuperNOVA. Thanks for the great comment, Silver! I'll take your advice. Have I played Pump before? Well.... on StepMania (a DDR simulator for PC) yes, in an arcade, no. You tried In The Groove or Beatmania IIDX yet? I would, but there's no arcades in my area that have them.
Silver Power - June 11, 2009 - Report this comment
Yeah, I actually am a pro at Stepmania, and I've submitted a lot of my custom Stepfiles to the websites, with banners, bgs, correct tempo, and good steps light-heavy on it, and have gotten pretty good scores. I have at least 100 songs on my Stepmania, it's a great game, and I cures boredom. In The Groove is awesome, more difficult than DDR, too. It also has a lot of good songs. Beatmania I have for the PS2, and I wish they would make more.
DJ Blaze - June 12, 2009 - Report this comment
Where do you upload your stepfiles? Zenius-I-Vanisher? FFR? I'll try to download your stepfiles sometime. Yeah, ITG has harder songs than DDR, like Pandemonium, VerTex2, and Summer (Speedy Mix). However, my fave ITG song is Bouff by Machinae Supremacy. I'm currently trying to find Beatmania for PS2, but I can't find the controller for it.
Silver Power - June 13, 2009 - Report this comment
I usually subkmit them to admins on Stepmania's website. I've even uploaded Stepfiles to songs I've personally made. [I make Electro-pop music, have 2k+ friends on MySpace]. My favorite sounding ITG song is 'We Know What To Do', I think by Matildoe or something like that. My favorite to play, not sure. And try eBay for the controller, can't be more than $20, I'm sure.
DJ Blaze - June 14, 2009 - Report this comment
You should try entering your stepfiles in StepMix 5. I'll check out your music. 2k+ friends? WOW!! Just listened to We Know What To Do on Audacity (a music editor that doubles as an OGG player) and it's cool. Reminds me of a slightly stripped-down Burning Heat from MAX2. I would try eBay, but our house has a rule about that: don't buy what you can't see.
Silver Power - June 16, 2009 - Report this comment
Smart rule, but eBay has security precautions and stuff like that. If I were you, I would buy from someone with high positive feedback (95%+) or an eBay store seller. And always make sure that the seller accepts returns on the item you're buying. [[ALSO]] My security code was NE5, looks kinda like NES. Idk, random.
DJ Blaze - June 16, 2009 - Report this comment
LOL NE5. I'll take that advice, but one more thing: why do they only accept PayPal, and is PayPal secure?
Silver Power - June 17, 2009 - Report this comment
Paypal is extremely secure, and best is, all of your purchases and sales from using Paypal can be accessed by logging into paypal, so if something is happening that should be, you can terminate the transaction.
DJ Blaze - June 17, 2009 - Report this comment
That's cool, SP. I think I'm now convinced that eBay is safe. Thanks! P.S. Ever played the import DS game "Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan"?
Silver Power - June 20, 2009 - Report this comment
I'm not much of a gamer. Just DDR and GH/RB. And Saint's Row 1/2. That's it though.
DJ Blaze - June 20, 2009 - Report this comment
That's still cool. I recently got a PS3 and I have learned 1 important thing from it: Oblivion will ruin my life. 200+ hours of gameplay, a massive world, and awesome combat system make it an addicting game.

Overdue to comment on this parody...You cranked 555 AAA's with this one!!

Thanks, Christie! And don't worry about overdue comments: I happen to do them a lot.

Quick question for Silver Power: I tried typing your name in a search on StepMania.com, but couldn't find any of your simfiles. Do you have a different screen name? Could you give me a link to one of your simfiles? (Preferably one of a song you did.)
