The Lyrics

In contrast to my other parody today ("Raise your beers") this one is from the darker and surreal side of beer drinking, or lack thereof... ;-)
Man, my beer it is sliding
Here's dry season, now sober will I meet this hell
Must get some beer inside me
But I don't get to anymore

I'm sober again now
'Cos I don't get drunk when I have hands like these
They're empty again now
Unwillingly I'm bereft of ale alone

Everyday is now the same
No more for me...

As the beer falls away, I've a near death experience
Yes, the beer falls away
I'm spilling ale, it's chilling me and I am not as drunk today

Might this bar be lopsided?
Might this bartender cure the void, raise my steroid-
level measure inciting?
I don't get to anymore

I'm sober again now
And I don't get served when I give tips like this
Hand's empty again now
Unwillingly I'm bereft of ale in pubs

Everyday is now the same
No more for me...

As the beers fall away, it's like near death experience
Yes, the beers fall away
I'm spilling ale, it's chilling me and no one comes to aid

As the beers fall away, comes a near death experience
Yes, the beers fall away
They're billing me, it's chilling me and I will not get drunk this way

No way!

I might be you, just not with fuel
I might be you, just not so kewl
I might be you, but with no drool
I might be you...

As a beer falls away, pours a near death experience
As a beer falls away...
I'm spilling ale, it's chilling me and tonight I won't get laid

As a beer falls away, it's a near death experience
As a beer falls away...
I'm spilling ale, it's chilling as I'm served this lemonade, 'til Yule

I might be you, just not with fuel
I might be you...

Just as soon as I can connect at faster than 26.4kbs I'll give that tune a listen.

Took a while to download but time well spent, great OS that is very reminiscent (sp?) of Tool but not a copy of their style and is pretty original sounding. As for the parody, I think this line is the best: "Might this bar be lopsided?", lol.

AFW: As you might have guessed this was inspired by the RL experience of spilling a beer, as of yet nooo damAgee doone tto tthhee KKeUIOboard thoooughÂ'11,d 3 ,,,

I'll have to check out Tool some more then, must admit I haven't given them the benefit of the dought beyound the first 3-4 songs I heard, and didn't really like.

Doubt. And the second part of the message was for Red Ant. Apparently I better have no more beer today. :-)
