The Lyrics

There's nothing more depressing than November in Scandinavia. It's so gloomy, weary and dark that Halloween costumes can be used as casual clothing, benzodiazepines as uppers and Death Metal as festivity music. Speaking of the latter this is probably the first ever parody of a song from the subgenre Norwegian Black Metal so in tune with another first, the old Viking age old norse poetic Edda, I've tried to use it for an epic tale of wild animals, urges to be in the great wide open, life and death.

A YouTube version of the original song can currently be found here:
Breaking all its strings
The barnyard she left untied
Bared no more in the booth
In the cold early morning
She did us pass - That damn cow!

Hereford is running clear
Frisk chewer of wild hay
Hereford is leaving smear
Damn cow is a drop zone!

Blare is on its breath
The pasture is called to tremble

Hereford is running clear
Frisk chewer of wild hay
Hereford's connecting near
Damn cow nabbed my cell phone!

*original solo replaced by cell phone default signals over cow angst mooing*

She had me run through
Had me dismembered

Hereford is running clear
Frisk chewer of wild hay
Hereford with horns as spears
Mad cow caused my tombstone!

Still out of its strings
And barnyard she's still outside
But I'm down in the earth
In a grave act of mourning
She emptied her ass - That damn cow!

Hereford's still running clear
Frisk chewer of park hay
Her final souvenir
Damn cow shat my tombstone!
