The Lyrics

Not to be confused with "Repeats", this song comments on the Writer's Guild strike, and will therefore be dated once the thing is over. Also, the pacing was really difficult, however, it is workable if performed a certain way. However, it is probably my most off-paced Rammstein parody thus far.

Repeats now seeing every day
Repeats now seeming very gay
Repeats now on every network
Repeats enough to make me berserk

Repeats because of a writter's strike
Repeats and contracts they do not like
Repeats until this thing gets resolved
Repeats for everyone involved

Repeats new ones are "reality"
Repeats all of them I have seen
Repeats ratings will soon descend
Repeats when will this ever end?

Internet downloads?
DVD residuals?
Negotiations a go?
I do not think so!

The Tonight Show?
We're on strike!
The Daily Show?
We're on strike!
The Colbert Report?
We're on strike!
TV's becoming a bore!

Conan O'Brein?
We're on strike!
What about Ellen?
Well, she's still doing that
Saturday Night Live?
We're on strike!
Will we make it out alive?

No more new shows are going to air
It's not like the writers just don't care
They just want some money to survive
But will the industry get through alive?

That show The office?
We're on strike!
Might be replaced with British Office
We're on strike!
All those cheesey soap operas
We're on strike!
It hasn't affected Oprah

What about Lost?
We're on strike!
Is it worth the cost?
We're on strike!
And 24?
We're on strike!
I can't take no more!

Episodes for Heros?
We're on strike!
What about Sopranos?
They ended that show!
Scubs series finale?
We're on strike!
The damage is hard to tally
