The Lyrics

This is another BtVS/Angel related parody.
Met a girl, thought she was nice
Silly me, I paid the price
She vamped out and bit my neck
Down I went, hit the deck

I came back, back from the dead
Evil thoughts were running through my head
Buffy showed up, and I felt sick
When I saw the wooden stick

She f#@*in' staked me, dust
She f#@*in' staked me, turned me to dust
A newborn vamp, thought I was immortal
But she found me, and made me go poof

Sunnydale, living with the Master
Teenage kids, blood pumps faster
I killed everyone I met
While Angel was the Slayer's pet, yeah

Found the girl, pulled out a gun
Angel's little girlfriend on the run
I was proving I was the best
Then I felt pain in my chest

He f#@*in' staked me, dust
He f#@*in' staked me, turned me to dust
He once was mine, but he chose the Slayer
And he killed me, but we'll meet again

Here's my story, makes me sob
Slayer killed me then took my job
Modern vampire, I was cool
But Faith stepped up, I looked a fool

She f#@*in' staked me, dust
She f#@*in' staked me, turned me to dust
I was so close, nearly ate some Slayer
This is not good, no, not good at all

La la la la la la la la la la, dust
La la la la la la la la la la, dust
Thought I was immortal, but she found me
She f#@*in' staked me

I don't like puddle of mudd OR Buffy, and I still liked it. I would have prefered the generic vampire mythos, rather than the specific Buffy one, but I still have to give it 5/5/5. Oh, and you should all check out the Richard Cheese cover if you haven't already...

I am a huge Buffy, so is Mari. I almost wanted to do one about Willow, but now the show is in reruns, so it's not as current.

Rick, I just had a thought - you and Mari may find this link interesting: http://au.f1.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/phil_79_abd/my_photos

Cool pictures, ABD. But where were you with our sweethearts Willow and Faith?

Funny stuff! My stepdaughter introduced me to this song; she'd probably appreciate the parody, too. Saw the pictures. Now if we see you on the street, we'll recognize you and say hi. The heck with pix of Willow & Faith -- nice one of Spike! Looks like you had a great time. Where was the convention? You should sing this at the next one!

Mari: The convention was the annual Posting Board Party in Los Angeles, of which this year's was the last, and it's the only one I was at, so I'm glad I was there. Lots of cast and crew, met a lot of great people (I was there for a week), Andy Hallett sang a few songs, Common Rotation played for around an hour and stole the show. Rick: Willow (Alyson) wasn't there, and Faith (Eliza) had too many people crowded around her for me and my camera to get close. Go figure. I was, however, instantly smitten with Summer Glau.
