The Lyrics

I AM BACK, with a parody of this indie song turned megahit DKTOS http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aI4JLa0hbUw
We could not believe our eyes
A table of apple pies
And potatoes and some turkey

Now I might just break a chair
Because there's food everywhere
Eat all this food
Hope I don;t get any stares

I'd like to make myself believe
That I'll get full real quickly
It's hard to say if this food will just make me all drowsy
Now could someone pass the green beans?

I;ll eat till I am a slug
Thanksgiving's my anti-drug
I'll finish this if I get the chance

Im so stuffed I might look dead
But not like my uncle Fred
And other relatives that I just dread

We've got some leftover turkey
Mashed potatoes, and green beans
Ate those and some cranberries and stuffing
And now my pants are ripping at the seams
Now I feel obese

If this constipates me just a tad
(Get some ex lax in here)
Cowboys on, someone says romo's a hack
(Blonde chicks been on his dick)
Expired by end of the week
(Cause Ill finish all this here)
My belly's big just take a peek

We also had apple pie
Stop people as they try
To take my food I say WHAT THE HELL?

I'm starting to look like Mars
Bathroom now smells bizarre
This was the best leftovers this far

Not tryin' make myself obese
Like Cartman or a Griffin
It's hard to say if Im gonna stay awake or fall asleep

After that apple pie and ice cream
Vanilla ya see

Go to the bathroom and relieve
Thanksgiving girth, real slowly
Thanksgving food's just so great to eat
Looks like it's gonna stay in my belly

Now I fall asleep

The table was turkey city
Now my stomach churns slowly

It's hard to say if bathroom or if I'm more hungry
Black Friday get a brand new pair of jeans

Thanks! Yeah, eamtn to write this on that day too LOL. But yeah, For some reason I had the OS in my head then started singing the first tow lines ( was going tro be Pumpkin Pies but since I had appel pie this worked out ebtter), and started singing this in my head before I wrote it. If you think of the right lines, this isnt a hard OS to parody, and IMO, youre better off writing something new for every time he sings the chrous in the OS instead of copying and pasting. For my fellow parodists here's some ideas for this "Amish Guys" "Redneck Guys" "Cookin Fries" "Fireflies (On my Food WTF?)"

I'm giving thanks for this one, Jackie. I've also been considering parody ideas for "Fireflies," but nothing's really grabbed me yet. Nice job!

(SOTM) The pacing was great, but not too much on the funny...food is a hard topic to make original, and Thanksgiving isn't my bag (as it doesn't exist in my country). Good to have you back, though.

Hi Jack.. coming straight here after reading Matthias' food-laden extravaganza - this reminds me of it, in that it's lyrically pretty tight, yet without anything to make me laugh, I'm afraid.

Security code "ECH" seems a little bit cruel, though :-)

Food parodies are always fun, as is this song, it's on my list of songs to parody in the near future along with "Bad Romance" by Lady GaGa
