The Lyrics

The second stanza is sort of mocking the original lyrics, in that they are inane and humanistic. "Climb Every Mountain" is like many songs that sound very inspiring, but they say nothing or the wrong thing. I try to give songs lyrics that justify their grandiose delivery.
Found my redemption
Searched high and low
Jesus Christ the one way
Him you have to know

Raised every mountain
Filled every stream
Colored every rainbow
God's above your "dream"

It's faith that you need
It's the best you can give
Trust the Lord with your soul
and forever you'll live

God's bloody fountain
Trust what it brings
Path is straight and narrow
Christ is King of kings

It's Christ that you need
For your sins He did bleed
Trust the Lord Jesus Christ
It's the call you must heed

"Christ died for sinners"
What does it mean?
Jesus let His blood flow
My slate is wiped clean!
