The Lyrics

JMJThis is for the third-graders that finally realized they out grown kiddie rides.
Now that we're at the Fair, you'll see what I mean
There is a ride here that used to turn me green
It seems that it got smaller with time
But it don't scare me now, as you'll see when I'm on
I'm goin' on this ride
It'll not beat my dome again
There's no place to hide
And I'm nothing like scared

My grandma straps me in and kisses my face
My lil' bro is squirming and he can't stay in place
Grandpa pays the carney for his time
But as we get started I just have to whine
"It's borin' on this ride
And the truth is it was better then
A see-saw glorified"
Though my brother is scared

I jump off the ride as soon as I get the chance
My brother is screaming and he just peed his pants
They will find I've outgrown it this time
If they will blow it up I'll just think it's fine
It's borin' on this ride
And I'll not go back there again
Make me, I will hide
And I don't even care
