I hopped out of bed at 8AM
From a dream. And my class is soon.
Way late wake up times, now I condemn.
Is it spelling my doom?
Out of my house, will I catch my class in time?
I check my watch and I see not a good sign.
This is all so crazy.
Really shouldn’t be too lazy.

My heart is pounding and I really shouldn’t fake sick.
I am rushing and I’m nervous.
That’s when I checked my clock and I must say “Oh no!”
‘Cause my first class starts at 9,
And the time is 9:05!
Yes, the time is 9:05!

So I must hurry up!
I’m late for my class! Now, today is an awful day!
I’m running to class like “Nay!”
Moving my butt like “Nay!”
Still if I hurry up,
I’m late for my class. I’m scared that I am not okay!
Nay! I am tardy for my class today!
Nay! I am tardy for my class today!

Got to my class late, now at last!
And my teacher’s yelling at me now,
Like “Hey there dude, you’re late for class!
That means that your grade’s going down!”
It’s hard with my classmates around me.
Now I’m embarrassed ‘cause I”m very tardy.
I had no time to say “Hello.”
I really need to get the memo:
