The Lyrics

This parody uses rhymes and acronyms (and almost one palindrome) to describe Nintendo characters. It is more of a style parody based on the original than a direct syllable parody of it, so don't expect exact pacing match-ups. There are also several more lines in mine than in the original so I could spell my name. Enjoy.
Mushrooms are ripe, I’m owner (MARIO)
Mustache angrily ruffled inspecting ogre (MARIO)
Yummy oblong snacks happily ingested (YOSHI)
Yawning obstacle sushi, he’s intrepid (YOSHI)

MY

Numerous enemy sparring scars (NESS)
Need energizing super stars (NESS)
Arch-nemesis drowning, ran over, stomped switch (ANDROSS)
Annoying nuisance damsel rescued… only spore snitch (ANDROSS)
Making awesome running turnip heave-ho (MARTH)
Magic appearance raccoon-turning hero (MARTH)
Eyes enemy’s vicious enemy eyes (EEVEE)
Exorcise evil villains: effective exercise (EEVEE)

NAME

Inter-connected areas require upgraded shoes (ICARUS)
Intelligent carnivorous aliens reproducing ultimately suffuse (ICARUS)
Screw attack makes uplifting skill (SAMUS)
Several airborne missiles unclutter sills (SAMUS)

IS

Galloping along, no one narrated (GANON)
Gathering action, new obstacles navigated (GANON)
Locked inscription nestled keenly (LINK)
Looking inside… need key (LINK)
Exploring platforms, opening new areas (EPONA)
Eating potions, orchestrating new arias (EPONA)
Nebulous, annoying voice imploring (NAVI)
Negate attention, vehemently ignoring (NAVI)
Zones explored, loosed defeating arrows (ZELDA)
Zero enemies left, depleted ammo (ZELDA)

This was pretty good I wish that since you were doing a bunch of Nintendo characters they would have all been from Super Smash Brothers (or had at least had Donkey Kong in there). Interesting song.

Thanks for coming around Matt. I tried to make them all popular, believe me. Names that start with vowels are hard to find among popular Nintendo characters. I missed DK too, but what can ya do? How've you been?

I revisted this parody on a whim and now I realize how brilliant this is. This needs to go into some contests although it's sadly going to be overlooked because of the unusual and obscure OS and the fact that there aren't that many gamers on Amiright.

Thanks for coming back Matt. Your words are kind and your appreciation makes a big difference. I think you're right, and thats OK. So it goes for obscure OSs and most gaming parodies. I think a tournament based around creating these types of rhyming acronyms would be fun. Lots of challenge, and I've no idea how to organize or phrase it, but very fun.
