The Lyrics

A fall classic for all our furry little friends. Not those, you perv. I'm talkin' about the squirrels.
This is for all you squirrels up in the trees
Winters can be so cold, your fur might freeze
Hold onto,
Onto your chestnuts and
Don’t get trapped
Inside a stinkin’ garbage can

This one’s for the squirrels

This is for all you squirrels in our local parks
Hangin’ out by the golf course,
Just clingin’ to that bark
Livin’ on
Stale chips and pistachios
Lickin’ off
Wet leaves after Hot Cheetos

This one’s for the squirrels
Who’ve ever lost a buried nut
Who’ve choked on crumbs from Pizza Hut
Whose treemate is a dirty slut

This one’s for the squirrels
Who race across railroad tracks
Who hesitate and get squashed flat--
Tail just lost its curl!
This one’s for the squirrels

(This one’s for
All the squirrels…)

This is for all you squirrels who’ve been urbanized
Scamp’rin’ ‘cross phone cables and high voltage lines
Watch out for
Stoned guys, drainin’ kegs
Who make you
Sit up and beg

This one’s for the squirrels
Who dash across the parking lots
Who dodge the whizz of B-B shots
Be grateful for the nuts you’ve got

This one’s for the squirrels
Whose cupboards look awful bare
Cold ground’s your only Frigidaire
Starvin' yet you share
This one’s for the squirrels

Ground or flying, stuck in zoos (stuck in zoos)
Chipmunks and weasels, too

This one’s for the squirrels
Who streak across a darkened road
Stay faithful to the Squirrel’s Code
Fur pancake under three-ton load

This one’s for the squirrels
Whose jowls remain firmly packed
Still reaching for a Crackerjack
Cuteness is your world, yeah
This one’s for the squirrels

(This one’s for
All the squirrels…)

Yeah, this one’s for the squirrels

(This one’s for
All the squirrels…)

This was a great one I especially liked the line about running over powerlines for some reason that was just hilarious to me.

Thanks, Matthias, I enjoy watching squirrels crossing neighborhoods on powerlines. I encourage people reading this parody to NOT contact the Squirrel Control Center or the Get Rid of Squirrels Now link. It would kind of spoil the song.

Awwwwwwww......how cute. I just love squirrels, but I wish that I could feed them, but they keep on shying away from me. This old lady that I know could draw squirrels to her while she fed them. I wished that I could do that. They only trust certain people, I guess. Here's 555 acorns for those squirrels!

Awww... thanks, Christie! I guess I'm one of those people. I pick up a rock and they come right over.
