The Lyrics

I've done many parodies sung by a humorous character, but this is my first parody sung by an animal! This is basicly about a fish that doesn't want to be dinner...
I swam around your bait worm daringly
I swallowed it without even thinking
I didn't think I'd end up lying here
I'm a fish out of water on this pier, oh

Don't leave me in this cooler with your six pack
Wondering if you're ever gonna throw me back
I'm already starting to breathe very slow
From decay the smell will be unbearable

[Chorus]
Can you let me go
Just let me go
Not big anyways, why not let me go
Just let me go
Just let me go
Not big anyways, why not let me go

I'm wishing now I didn't eat that food
I couldn't help myself, it looked so good
Not exactly the food you wanna eat
Next time when I'm hungry I'll bottom feed, oh

Being cooked on a skillet is my worst fear
That sort of thing's every fish's worst nightmare
I'm gonna jump out now and get past this guy
Hope he doesn't close the lid and let me die

[Chorus 2x][Gasping and flopping noises in between choruses]

Don't leave me in this cooler with your six pack
Wondering if you're ever gonna throw me back
I'm already starting to breathe very slow
From decay the smell will be unbearable

[Chorus]

Being cooked on a skillet is my worst fear
That sort of thing's every fish's worst nightmare
I'm gonna jump out now and get past this guy
Hope he doesn't close the lid and let me die

[Chorus]

Speaking as a decade police officer, I happen to know that TOS is from 1999 so you shoulda used 90s. Speaking as myself, I think this is a very well written and clever spoof so I'm gonna give you 5,5,5.

Sorry about listing this in the wrong decade. The website I used said it was released in 2001. I checked another site and it was released in '99. I'm glad you enjoyed the parody though! :)
