The Lyrics

This is the same type of song (humor not priority) as ¨story of a race¨ but i think i got the pacing better.
It starts with
One dream/that there should be
White Americans living by the west sea
But be aware/ That there were a fair
Amount of natives there
We all know
Truth is a malleable thing
Of Indian fighters we proudly sing
But the truth is they were killers and thieves
And we all still believe
They were heroes
Saw land as a prize
Guns and germs caught natives by surprise
Thought they just killed brutes/ but they didn't realize
Culture was lost right be-
Fore their eyes
Natives had arrows and bows and everybody knows/ they're no match for guns
Now it's plain to see that our history has some tragedies like the time when

We drove some west
And killed the rest
But Indians had cultures that were shattered
I can't deny
We were bad guys
When Indians had cultures that were shattered

Think how/ you would react
If some foreign people came and attacked
And were unfair said your land was theirs
And said that you had to
Go really far
The white man was often a greedy man
Hardly respecting a single treaty and
Wasting bison the natives were needing I´m
Not surpised they fought so hard
They lost the fight and now things are hard
Now they´re known as drunks who play a lot of cards
But in fact there were no wins
In our history with the
Indians
Natives had arrows and bows and everybody knows/ they're no match for guns
Now it's plain to see that our history has some tragedies like the time when

We drove some west
And killed the rest
But Indians had cultures that were shattered
I can't deny
We were bad guys
When Indians had cultures that were shattered

We fought them with our guns
Since they fought better by hand
Took their lives
And then we took all of their land
We fought them with our guns
Since they fought better by hand
Took their lives
And then we took all of their land

We drove some west
And killed the rest
But Indians had cultures that were shattered
I can't deny
We were bad guys
When Indians had cultures that were shattered
