The Lyrics

This is a song about probably the biggest heated controversy in the early church---is salvation for the Gentiles? The apostle Paul wrote about this subject quite a few times in his New Testament letters, proving that God's grace is for everyone, and not just the Jews. Here's a few verses to look at:1 Corinthians 1:24; 12:13; Romans 3:29; 10:12-13; Acts 20:21; Hosea 2:23; John 10:16
What faith is it
If it's just for us
When God wants to reach those outside
I can't give up
And I can't back down
Can't be losing so many lives

It's for Jews and Greeks
And all other people
They must hear the truth
They'll listen too
It's for Jews and Greeks
And all other people
They don't know Christ
I can't keep my Bible from you

Romans 1:16
Says I'm not ashamed
Trust God, trust him for life
Paul's preaching the word
Read it in First Corinthians
1:24 and 12 verse 13

It's for Jews and Greeks
And all other people
We'll spread the good news
Then let them choose
Hosea 2:23
He'll call on the people
Who don't know Christ
I'll go make disciples for you

Romans 11:2 now
Verse 25 you'll figure it out
Everything he does is for His will
Everything he does is right

It's for Jews and Greeks
And all other people
God won't reject the Jews
John 10:16's proof
That there's unity
In all of God's people
Romans 3:29
Cause Christ Jesus died for both

You and me
And all other people
So you'd know the truth
You got nothing to lose
It's for you to see
So open your Bible
And come to know Christ
Have eternal life spent with you

What faith is it
If it's just for us
When God wants to reach those outside
"But to those whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God." --1 Corinthians 1:24

maybe it's just me, but I like funny stuff. If I want Bible lessons, I'll read the bible
