was a horrible year
with so many hurricanes
like Katrina, Wilma
we had so many, we started
to name them in Greek
like Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta
New Orleans is gone
Mardi Gras is too
Thanks to these stupid storms

Katrina,
Ophelia,
Thank God not Hazel,
There was Wilma,
and Beta
Just thought they were over
But then Gamma had formed
But you won't get to see Hurricane Ivan
Year of the Hurricanes

Three hurricanes formed
at the same time and we know,
Maria, Nate, and Ophelia
and one of them went insane
Ophelia became
a hurricane four sep'rate times
so many people have no home to go to again
New Orleans is gone
Mardi Gras is too
