"Eagle claws, Eagle might" Written by an American Nazi without a squeak of protest, until now.
The economy is doing well. Millions of people have health insurance who didn't before. The auto industry is saved. The stupid war is over. Osama bin Laden is dead. Obama is ten times the President that Reagan was, and a hundred times the man. And on January 20, 2017, President Hillary Clinton will be twice the woman that her Republican opponent is, whoever he turns out to be.
Right! Inauguration is on January 20. In 1981, that was the date of Reagan's first inauguration. In 1985, because the 20th was on a Sunday, his second public inauguration was held on the 21st.
The USSR never, ever reigned on high. By 1981, it was falling apart, having lost the space race, being bogged down in Afghanistan, getting boycotted in the Olympics the previous year, being led by a dying Brezhnev, and spending itself into bankruptcy trying to keep up in the arms race.
