It's pronounced "powned" not "pawned" but that's not that big of a deal because it doesn't really rhyme with anything so one can still think "powned" while reading your parody. Other than that however I really enjoyed this one. Loved the inclusion of "All your base are belong to us" and you stepping out of your comfort zone to write a parody about online gaming.

Oops, I realized my previous comment could be taken sarcastically. To put it another way, I'll trust Matty on the pronunciation before I'll trust some anonymous Wikipedia poster. So just pretend it's "pawn" for this parody. And on another note, the day I pwn anyone on a video game is the first day of the apocalypse.

I always thought "pawned" was acceptable, as it has similar meaning in a chess game context. Nevertheless, you pwned the topic.

This was pretty fun Rex, very clever word choice, and it fit the emotions expressed by Kelly in the original, I also like how generic it is as it can be applied to just about any shooter the way its written
