Seems like just yesterday, we had a lot of food
I used to scarf it down, The pantry was my friend
The kids would never fight, everyone could get a bite
All edible - the fun would never end

Now we can't eat, we're out of meat

Two with cheese, one supreme
The coupon's on the fridge
Momma's gone, on a trip
And I don't feel like cooking food tonight

I called in everything, bottled pop and garlic sauce
I threw the breadsticks in, the price was so nice
When all my hope was gone, never turned the oven on
Just my wallet, now I'm digging 'round for change

Cuz we will eat, four kinds of meat
The crust is cheesy too!
