The tales I've read
Were put together inside of your head
And spilled onto a page
Where thousands of words formed the pictures you framed
Now you're at it again
Sitting at your desk with your pen in your hand
Before starting to write
Try considering a little advice:

Writers, be good, with your commas,
Commas, should not, be abused,
Too many pauses, between the clauses,
Will cause it, to take, too long, to read through

Don't you ever end
A quotation you didn't begin"
And I can't _underscore_ this enough
Too much emphasis is just *TOO MUCH*

And writers, be good with your hyphens
Some-words ain't meant-to-be fused
Two hyphens attached--will turn into a dash
And writers--be good--with your dashes too

Marks are good things
(Especially parentheses)
Marks have purpose
But marks can perplex
When mixed together in a big mess
That drives me %@*^#$& mad!

Please don't overdo exclamations!!!!!!!!

And writers, be good with your periods.
Use one when a thought is through.
If it's unfinished, then use an... ellipsis
And writers... be good with ellipses too...
